Lets help PVP.
For one thing, im mostly a pve’er. Not much in pvp. Surprising, but a lot of people don’t pvp much at all. Problem is that this isn’t natural for us to play online pvp games like this!.
Few things are real wrong in guild wars pvp. Finding matches in this game is silly. I wish you could simply form your own pvp instance. It comes up in a box list for people to join (kinda like in counterstrike). You already host a butt load of these pvp instances all monitored on your systems. This is nothing more then letting us set up our own matches(rather then the computer)
Anyone can create, browse and join from the list (kinda like cs). Give us some options to set number of players, match length, guild map. Give us a guild maps list, we can choose from that we may have unlocked throughout pve/pvp things. We can still do our old school way, no need to get rid of that, its already there. Even let us select what level range you want the people to be that join. Just lvl 7’s, levels 11-15 or whatever you want. You only have the attrb points you normaly would at that level your are or that is specified. Don’t want elites in builds, click the checkbox to disable elites. Is that simple or no?
Also, give us a practice mode in our guild. This is a mode between our guild and pve bosses we have unlocked. We can go in with as many or few we want. Before going in our practice guild mode we can also select from any boss in the game that we’ve already unlocked/beaten. Select the ones you want and giver!!! (try them all at once!! Lol) Could be an extra help to assist balance in your economy. From its release, start it clear slate for all guilds. People in the guilds just onlock stuff as they go through game naturally. (pvp onlers
Before I get into anything to much deep I want to first get your opinions on this. Watchas think? Iits not written in stone but if it’s a good base Idea can we work with it to improve it. (I have many ideas). Lets star this if ya like it.

The idea of setting up guild battles or anything where faction/rank is concerned is just screaming smurf guilds, which is the reason things are now. Certainly, the matching process needs improvement (i.e. my guild (1000+) found itself against a rank 200 guild on our first match ) but the players cannot be allowed to choose, unless it were for practice rounds which counted for no faction or rank.
As for the boss idea... how would we exactly unlock bosses seems kind of awkward.

you can unlock bosses with faction for the pvp only players and also pve side simply when you kill them. Re-read this a time or two and try visulize a system of pvp matches people start or join. Simular to any other pvp type game.

it would be good too if there is PvP match like castle siege where a faction must play defend while the other is attacking..consider both providing equal amount of fun..moreover, the number of maps for PvP seems too little considerate this game lies more toward PvP..
For me, MMORPG players like large scale PvP match..the larger the scale of PvP match..the better it is..it would be amazing if arenanet can design a large war map between two or more factions (i am assuming if there is additional factions added in the expansion), then, these factions will fight a war between each other in a race to capture strategic points and defend it for some amount of time in order to gain that strategic points (i am speaking of this referring to Warhammer 40k : Dawn of War), whoever with more amount of strategic points will be able to gain favour from gods (now i am speaking of this based on guild wars), for those who gain favour from gods, they can gain access to additional map areas (which is already done in original guild wars but the amount of additional map areas must be increased as well). Hence, the PvP match is no longer just between two factions every time, it is involving a large scale war, tactics and it is a race as well..
The rewarding system in the PvP match must be enhanced as well, not only ranking, factions, celestial sigil, etc, etc..i think the idea of unlocking a new map area as a reward for gaining god's favour is cool but after the players gain fissure armor, weapons, etc, etc..there is no point to continue the game anymore except monitoring their guild and making sure the guild is in high rank. The rewarding system must be enhanced in order to bring back the high level players to be always active in PvP match, increase the competitiveness of the PvP match, and most important of all is the sense of satisfaction when one wins the match..
I am speaking of this based on my idea. I hope that u guys will forgive me because my english is not good.
